Though they can adapt to a large range and are not very much dependent on meat-specific protein alone. One must be very specific in offering varied food materials too. For dogs, lot of common human foods and household ingestible are toxic and harmful. Such food items include chocolate solids, onion, garlic, grapes, raisins, macadamia nuts, various plants and other potentially ingested materials.
